Reneé Chester, hailed as one of the top performers in her field, is a renowned Makeup Artist and entrepreneur, prominently featured in the GUYANA CHRONICLE as one of Guyana’s most sought-after Makeup Artists. With over a decade of successful career experience, Reneé continuously excels, recently partnering with the United Nations under the Spotlight Initiative to raise awareness of Gender-Based Violence against Women and Girls.
She has garnered international recognition, winning the Outstanding Makeup Artist in the Caribbean award from the Caribbean Style & Culture, and being honored with the 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurial Award for Success by BrandYouth Global in the same year.
As the founder of BROMELIAD.rnc, a leading retail store for cosmetics specializing in the Black Opal Beauty Brand, Reneé has expanded her empire to eight beauty outlets across Guyana, ensuring Makeup Artists and enthusiasts have their needs met. Known as “The Mother of Makeup” in her homeland, she has trained over one thousand students in Makeup artistry, many of whom have become successful MUAs both locally and internationally.
Reneé’s recent business venture includes acquiring the Franchise Rights for THE MISS GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT, realizing a ten-year aspiration. Since January 2023, she has served as the National Director for Guyana.
Notably, Lateefah Forde, the reigning Miss Global International-Guyana, represented Guyana at the 2023 Miss Global International Pageant, staged in Montego Bay, Jamaica, achieving remarkable success by placing in the Top 5, winning the best figure award, and earning the highest rating in her personality interview, bringing pride to her country.
