He was born in Burma on August 23, 1951.

Mr. Ramchandani came to Jamaica from India in 1967. He arrived and started working at his uncle’s Manhattan House in downtown Kingston for 12 years. Of course, he found the time to attend classes part-time at Durham College on South Camp Road.

He later open his own store Nik Nak in 1976 and became a pioneer in the real estate by building the first shopping centre in Ironshore the Blue Diamond Shopping in March 1992

He is first and foremost a family man with an adoring wife and four children . He was married on March 30th 1975 and is a proud grandfather of a set of twins.

  • Working with the Health Authority in making appointments for persons to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Recruit new Justice of Peace for the Parish of St. James
  • Sponsor several sporting activities in the Western Region
  • Acts as a liaison officer between illegal Indian immigrants and Immigration
  • Receive a citation from the Mayor of Montego Bay , His Worship Councillor Leeroy Williams for his sterling support in and around the community and to acknowledge his 70th birthday
  • He has granted a scholarship in the amount of $100,000,000 to a student of the Montego Bay Community College to assist their education
  • Working with the Minister of Tourism for the past 2004 with the host of his international show by bringing tourist delegates and Directors from all over the World
  • Recently opened a store at the Falmouth Pier which only sells 100% Jamaican products
